What is a consultation?

When you hear talk about ‘consultations’ or the ‘consultation process’ this just means that there are plans being made to make changes to the town, and the people making those changes need to ask us, the people that live and work here what we think of those ideas BEFORE they go ahead and do them!

A lot of the time though, perhaps because some of us aren’t old enough to have a vote – we are not consulted. We think this is WRONG!

THIS IS CHANGING BECAUSE OF THE WORK WE DO.

This website is regularly looked at by Councillors and others to find out your opinion – so please make sure you speak up and let them know what you think! Use the Message Board to do this or contact us directly.
